Humble beginnings
I was born in the 80s in the Chicago suburbs. I was into computers from a very young age, all thanks to my dad, who was an electronics technician at the time. He had all sorts of tech back in the early 90s. A lot of it I unfortunately don't remember, but I do remember a Putt-Putt game rather vividly, which I am most likely playing in the below photo. Either that or the original Choplifter game. The keen-eyed among you will notice the 8" floppy hanging up. You don't see those anymore.
My passion continued all throughout adolescence into adulthood. I can't count how many computers I've owned. I never did go to school for it, though. Let's just say I was a bad student.
My first venture into the home lab started in 2017, when I built my first NAS. I'll talk about that in my next post!
